42nd Intl. Conference on Computers, Software & Application Tokyo

Dr. Shama Siddiqui, Asst. Prof., Department of Computer Science, DHA Suffa University presented her paper entitled "A Comparison Study on Dynamic Duty Cycle and Dynamic Channel Polling Approach for Wireless Sensor Networks” at 42nd International Conference on Computers, Software & Applications (COMPSAC 2018) held at Tokyo, Japan from July 23rd to 27th. COMPSAC is IEEE signature conference and is ranked as “A”. Various researchers from the top institutes such as Columbia University, Missouri State University and Tokyo University attended the conference. Dr. Shama’s visit was funded by HEC.
During her stay at Japan, Dr. Shama visited Yoshinaga & Celimuge Laboratory, Graduate School of Informatics & Engineering, the University of Electro-Communications. Dr. Celimuge Wu, Assoc. Prof at the University of Electro-Communications invited Dr. Shama to his lab to discuss the present research areas and introduced her to the doctoral students working at the lab. The possible directions of research collaborations between DSU and University of Electro-Communications were also explored in the areas of the blockchain, IoT security and physical implementations & future Ad-hoc networks.
