Admissions are open for BE-Electrical Engineering for Fall 2013 at DHA Suffa University.

Eligibility Criteria for BE (Electrical Engineering)

• SSC or an equivalent examination with at least 60% marks; and
• HSSC Pre-Engineering or an equivalent examination with at least 60% marks; and
• At least 50% marks in DSU Entrance Test

Required Documents
Applicants are required to bring following original documents for application processing:

• Matric/O-Level Certificate and Marks Sheet/Statement.Applicants with O-Level must submit equivalence from IBCC .
• Intermediate/HSSC/FSc/A-Level Marks Sheet/Statement. Applicants with A-Level must submit equivalence from IBCC
• Copy of CNIC or B-Form
• Three passport size photographs (2" x 2") with white background

OPTIONAL: Valid Test Score of NTS (NAT/GAT) or SAT, if appeared. Applicants submitting their NAT/SAT-1/GAT test scores obtained within last one year shall be exempted from taking DSU’s entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria for MS (Electrical Engineering)

• The applicant must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline with a CGPA of 2.5/4.0; and
• The applicant must pass the NTS GAT General Test with a minimum score of 50%

Required Documents:
Following documents must accompany the application on the prescribed form:

• Transcripts/Marks Sheet of past academic record
• NTS/GRE/Equivalent Score Card
• A Statement of Purpose
• At least 03 (three) letters of recommendation from Professors/Associate Professors/Assistant Professors, who have been the applicant's teacher/supervisor
• Copy of CNIC
• Three passport size photographs (2" x 2") with white background

• PhD-Electrical Engineering ▼

Eligibility Criteria for PhD (Electrical Engineering)

• Masters degree or equivalent with eighteen (18) years of education in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the semester system or 60% marks in the annual system; and
• NTS GAT Subject Test with minimum cumulative score of 60% or other such equivalent test acceptable as per HEC guidelines

• Transcripts/Marks Sheet of past academic record
• NTS/GRE/Equivalent Score Card
• A statement of Purpose and a Preliminary Research Proposal in the area of interest
• At least 03 (three) letters of recommendation from Professors/Associate Professors/Assistant Professors, who have been the applicant's teacher/supervisor
• Copy of CNIC
• Three passport size photographs (2" x 2") with white background

Admission Process

Following steps must be completed in order to obtain admission at DSU:
• Complete Admission Application Form
• Submit required documents at DSU Admissions Office
• Submit application processing fee in DSU Accounts Office
• Take online admission test at DSU Campus and pass it
• Interview, at DSU Campus
• If offered admission obtain fee challan from DSU Admissions Office
• Deposit prescribed fees and charges in any branch of Habib Metropolitan Bank or in DSU Accounts Office through Pay Order
• Submit photocopy of payment receipt in DSU Admissions Office
• Collect Provisional Admission Granted Letter from Admissions Office
