Dr. Hironao Takahashi Presents Research Papers at ISADS 2017 Thailand
Dr. Hironao Takahashi, Director ORIC and Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science at DHA Suffa University (DSU) presented two research papers at the 13th IEEE International Symposium on Autonomous Decentralized Systems (ISADS 2017) held in Bangkok, Thailand from March 22 to 24, 2017.
The paper titled “Autonomous Decentralized Kernel Cache Architecture for Multi-Ontology Based Information Extraction on Microsoft Windows” proposes architecture to improve the query time for Ontology Based Information Extraction (OBIE) systems that utilize multiple ontologies. The second paper titled “Improving the Understanding between Control Tower Operator and Pilot Using Semantic Techniques” discusses a solution to record the voice of both controller and pilot and semantically categorize it for ensuring reliable communication and improved aviation safety.
ISADS 2017 focused on the advancements and innovations in ADS concepts, technologies, applications, strategic issues and other related topics. The participants came from USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands and Japan and discussed new research areas such as ADS architecture and its implementation in automatic driving systems of automobiles, ontology for Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and big data analysis.
The scholarly work of Dr. Hironao Takahashi has considerably elevated the stature of DHA Suffa University and has contributed to the literary accomplishments of DSU's Department of Computer Science.
