The DHA Suffa University held the subject consultation in collaboration with UNESCO, Media 360, Punjab University.
The event focused on promoting Media and Information Literacy (MIL) to address challenges like disinformation and hate speech. MIL aims to empower individuals with critical skills to access, evaluate, and create media content responsibly, fostering peace and tolerance.
With Pakistan’s growing digital landscape—193 million mobile subscribers and 45.7% internet penetration—MIL aligns with the Digital Pakistan Policy and the National Education Policy, enhancing digital skills and critical thinking.
