INTRODUCTION

Introduction

BS (BAP) aims to produce graduates who possess an analytical mindset and are keen to lead in the corporate sector by integrating data analytics, programming, digital globalization and business fundamentals. The students will also be introduced to several programming libraries for data visualization and they will learn how to apply their knowledge to solve business problems.

Faculty

The Department’s faculty members are highly trained and have extensive backgrounds in both teaching and research at prestigious universities. The majority of them have extensive professional histories in the field. The faculty is actively involved in creating futuristic concepts to address current business issues. Such initiatives have a great chance of receiving funds and grants both domestically and abroad. The faculty is enthusiastic about management development and possesses strong subject-matter expertise. As a result, there are courses in business analytics and programming that combine considerable academic knowledge with research, consulting, and
industry experience.

The Department of Management Sciences Student Mentorship Program is a career mentorship platform that pairs students with qualified professionals in the business world, giving them access to insider knowledge about the field they have chosen. Mentors use their valuable knowledge and experiences to guide and assist students as they make choices about their future careers. This makes the students of Business Analytics and Programming more confident and well-prepared for the industry.

Through its research and methodologies, business analytics enables the organization to pinpoint risks and create risk-reduction plans. After the data has been examined, the products and services can be personalized.

Capstone Projects

Students are offered capstone projects in their final semester. These projects allow students to work on real world business issues. Under this program, students are required to work as a consultant to a client company under the guidance of a faculty supervisor and a corporate mentor.

Foreign Linkages

The International Education Resource Center (IERC) has been set up with the goal of promoting higher education opportunities in Germany, Turkey, Malaysia and China at DHA Suffa University. It strives to provide an interface for DHA Suffa University’s students to access the study abroad programs of leading international universities. through different initiatives such as Senior Experten Service (SES), each year, a number of foreign faculty members from top business schools are invited to teach at DHA Suffa University. The students of DSU gain an edge by having exposure to the international affiliations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Eligibility Criteria for BS (Business Analytics and Programing)

Pass Intermediate or an equivalent examination Or
A-Level with minimum 3 passes in principal subjects
Applicants with O-Level / A-Level and Technical studies must submit equivalence from IBCC

Required Documents

Applicants are required to bring a set of copied documents for application processing:

Matriculation / O-Level / Equivalent Marks Sheet / Statements and Certificates
Intermediate / Equivalent / A-Level Marks Sheet / Statements and Certificates
Applicants with O-Level / A-Level and Technical studies must submit equivalence from IBCC
College Provisional Certificate / Promotion Certificate by the respective Board
A copy of CNIC and B-Form
3 passport-sized photographs with white background
Admit Card / Statement of Entry is required, if awaiting result

OPTIONAL:

Valid test scores of NTS (current year) or SAT I (within two years) if appeared. Applicants Submitting NTS or SAT I test scores shall be exempted from taking DSU’s entrance test. However, candidates who do not have good enough NTS or SAT I scores will be advised to appear in the DSU Admissions Test for better chances of securing admission

Hours internship (6 Weeks) for 4 years programs, may start from 4^th
Semester onwards, shall be counted in the final semesters.

HEC new policy also allows combinations of
majors and minors. These majors and minors shall be developed with varying
combinations in line with HEC Policy and adopted in due course of time after
discussion at BOS and approval in BOF levels.

Students optioning for AD shall follow the same
plan of study / roadmap and exit after 4^th semester. However, they
would require to complete internship during summer semester.

Students joining after 14 years education shall proceed as follow: –

Those with AD from DSU / having
similar roadmap as that of DSU, shall join the university
from 5^th Semester.

Individuals who have previously pursued Associate
Degree at other universities would also be considered for admission into our
university program starting from the 5th semester. However, this consideration shall be based
on an evaluation of their deficiency
courses, which will be completed within two-year timeframe as part of the program using summer as regular semesters.

Ordinary graduates (BSc, B.com, and BA) students can
also get admission in our university from 5^th semester by studying
deficiency courses through bridging as standalone semester or being part of the
running semesters while using summer as regular semesters.
