A delegation from SUPARCO (Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission) visited DHA Suffa University (DSU) and held an interactive session with students of the Computer Science Department regarding Pakistan’s historic upcoming space mission.
The visit highlighted Pakistan’s plan to send its first astronaut to the Chinese Space Station (CSS) in 2026, a groundbreaking milestone in the nation’s space journey. SUPARCO officials briefed students about opportunities to contribute through research experiments aboard CSS, in collaboration with SEAD (Space Education & Awareness Drive).
Students were encouraged to submit proposals focused on space technology, AI applications in space, and experimental ideas that can aid scientific discovery beyond Earth.
