DHA Suffa University conducts Review of Institutional Performance & Enhancement 2024-25

DHA Suffa University conducted its Review of Institutional Performance & Enhancement (RIPE) on 26th and 27th June 2025. The review aimed to assess the University’s performance effectiveness based on the 16 standards outlined in HEC’s RIPE Handbook, a mandatory component of the PSG-2023 Framework.

The Review Panel comprised of external evaluators; Mr. Muhammad Iftikhar Mubashir (Director QEC, Usman Institute of Technology University) and Dr. Arshia Samin Naqvi (Director QEC, Sohail University), along with internal evaluators Dr. Sajjad Ashraf (Assistant Professor, MS Department, DSU), Dr. Najeeb Ur Rehman (Assistant Professor, CS Department, DSU). Ms. Syeda Tehreem Fatima Naqvi (Student Representative, DSU) was also part of the panel.

The proceedings began with a welcome note by Dr. Johar Farooqi (Director QEC, DSU) which led to an overview of the University and IPE Compliance Report 2023-24. The panel thoroughly reviewed the Institutional Performance Evaluation Report (IPER) and examined evidence supporting the IPER responses to Expectation Outcome Indicators (EOIs) listed under the 16 RIPE standards. A campus tour followed, during which the panel met with students and visited classrooms, offices, and laboratories to assess the quality of facilities.

On Day 2, the panel met with faculty members and heads of various departments. The remaining IPER standards and the provided evidence were reviewed. Afterwards, an Exit Meeting was held with the honorable Vice Chancellor DSU, Dr. Ahmed Saeed Minhas and Air Cdre Zahid Ul Hassan (Registrar, DSU). The panel shared their valuable insights during this meeting, acknowledging the University’s strengths, quality of programs, and academic culture.

The QEC at DSU, in collaboration with academic and administrative departments, facilitated the review process.
