The Department of Computer Science hosted the Orientation for the BS Cyber Security Program to welcome the new cohort of students. Starting at 12:00 PM, the session featured a detailed briefing on academic requirements, university policies, and NCEAC/HEC guidelines, ensuring students are well-prepared to begin their academic journey.
An engaging interactive session followed, where students had the chance to connect with faculty, clarify queries, and share their aspirations. A key highlight of the program was the formal introduction of the Cyber Security Club –CyberStrix@DSU, designed to encourage collaborative learning, innovation, and practical exposure to the cybersecurity domain.
The day concluded with a campus tour, helping students familiarize themselves with facilities and resources. The orientation not only provided essential information but also inspired students to step confidently into their new academic chapter in Cyber Security.
