The delegation was headed by Cdre Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman Qureshi SI (M), Managing Director (R&D), and included Cdre Dr. Sajjad Haider Zaidi SI (M) along with other senior officers.
During the visit, the faculties of “Engineering & Applied Sciences” and “Computer Science & Information Technology” presented an overview of ongoing research initiatives and showcased key completed projects at DSU.
It was mutually decided to initiate research collaboration between DSU and NRDI through joint projects at both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels.
The visit marked an important step towards strengthening academia–defence linkages and fostering innovation through collaborative research.
