On 9th October 2025, on the Students Orientation Day, Community Support Program of DHA Suffa University in collaboration with DHA Horticulture organized a “Plantation Drive” at DHA University. Such initiatives demonstrate the university’s commitment to environmental sustainability and its dedication to creating a greener and more sustainable future. The event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of tree plantation and the need for collective action to address environmental challenges.
Sir Waqas and Ms Saadia Khan gave a brief introduction in the Students Orientation about Plantation drive. Every student was given a plant to take home and plant it. The students were asked to take care of their plants and nurture it and provide regular feedback to the university about the plant, which will be posted on the social media networks of the university. The planted trees will provide long-term benefits, including improved air quality, reduced carbon footprint, and enhanced biodiversity.
