The training, conducted by Dr. Johar Farooqi
(Director QEC), focused on preparing effective Self-Assessment Reports based on
PREE standards as per QAA-HEC’s PSG-2023 Quality Assurance Framework. All
nominated PT members attended the session.
The interactive session was held at Aghaz, the DSU Incubation Center, encouraging
participants to develop a full understanding of the PSG-2023 framework while seeking
clarification and understanding the core process of preparing the Self-Assessment
Report according to PREE standards.
The training commenced with a brief overview of the PSG-2023 framework and its
components. An in-depth discussion on the format, sections, template, and technical
requirements of the desired Self-Assessment Reports followed afterward. The session
also covered SAR submission guidelines, student representation, and preparation of
Corrective Action Reports (CARs) as prescribed by the PSG-2023 framework. PT
members were also provided with an overview of the entire PREE process to
contextualize their role within the QA cycle. The training emphasized the significance of
their role and encouraged them to approach the process with vigor and diligence.
