DHA Suffa University Self-Graduate Program Review
DHA Suffa University conducted its Self-Graduate Program Review on the 29th and 30th of April 2025 to ascertain whether the graduate programs offered by the University meet their educational objectives and outcomes as per HEC’s criteria, as well as the Graduate Education Policy guidelines.
The Review Panel was comprised of:
- Syed Waqar-ul-Hasan (Convener, Director QEC at Salim Habib University)
- Engr. Dr. Dur Muhammad Soomro (Associate Professor, Electrical Engineering Dept., DSU)
- Dr. Asbah Qaiser (Assistant Professor, Humanities and Social Sciences Dept., DSU)
- Dr. Sajjad Ashraf (Assistant Professor, Management Sciences Dept., DSU)
The Panel examined all the program PG Forms, as well as faculty and students’ files according to the checklists. They also conducted Q&A sessions with MS/ME/MPhil and PhD students, along with faculty members of PG programs. A campus tour included visits to the library, laboratories, and other infrastructure to observe the quality of the facilities available.
On 30th April, the panel members met with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saeed Minhas, and shared their insights regarding the DSU Graduate programs. The convener also candidly shared some observations from the two-day review.
This annual review was successfully organized by the QEC, and was jointly supervised and facilitated by the Directorate of Postgraduate Programs.
