Air Commodore is a retired Air Officer from Pakistan Air Force and possesses adequate inland and foreign professional and academic qualifications besides holding numerous Command & Staff, Educational, Instructional, Operational, Functional, Administrative and academic assignments at the Air Headquarters, Islamabad and field formations of Pakistan Air Force. He achieved his Master degrees in War Studies, Strategic Studies and National Security & War Studies respectively, from the National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad, Doctorate in Global Security and Strategy from the University of Sapienza (Wisdom) Rome, Italy and is the PhD scholar in IR from FUUAST. Besides Commanding an operational Base, a Sector Headquarters and remaining a Chief Project Director, and currently serving the DHA Suffa University as Registrar. He has also served as the Director Research at a Think Tank. He is the recipient of two Presidential Awards including the Sitara e Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha a Imtiaz (Military) and frequently writes and speaks on regional and global security and strategic issues.
