DHA Suffa University conducted its Self-Graduate Program Review on the 27th and
28th of April 2026 to ascertain if the quality of graduate programs offered by the
University meet the educational objectives and outcomes as per HEC’s criteria, as well
as the Graduate Education Policy 2023 guidelines.
The Graduate Review Panel was led by Engr. Dr. Abdul Hameed Memon, Professor in
Mechanical Engineering, at Hamdard University. Engr. Dr. Dur Muhammad Soomro, Associate
Professor (EE), Dr. Sobia Iqbal, Associate Professor (MS), Engr. Dr. Najeeb ur Rehman Malik,
Assistant Professor (IT), and Ms. Erum Fatima, PhD Scholar (MS) accompanied him in the
Panel.
The Panel examined all Proformas of the DSU PG Programs, as well as faculty and
students’ folders. They also engaged with MS/ME/MPhil and PhD students, along with
faculty members of PG programs. A campus tour included visits to the laboratories,
main library, data center, and research facilities especially Cuda Research and IOT and
Multimedia Research Labs. The Panel saw other support infrastructure to ascertain the
overall quality of the facilities available to scholars.
On the eve of 28th April, the panel members met with the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr.
Ahmed Saeed Minhas to share their insights on the DSU Graduate programs. The
convener expressed his satisfaction and commended the strengths and overall quality
of the DSU programs.
This annual review was successfully organized by the QEC and was jointly supervised
and facilitated by the Directorate of Postgraduate Programs.
