Mr. Mustafa Raza , Senior lecturer of International Relations Program was invited for a guest lecture by the faculty of Engineering, Science, Technology and Management of Ziauddin University Karachi.

During the lecture he discussed Pakistan’s tangled history of governance failures, non-elected institutions’ domination over parliament politics, and missed economic opportunities. He stated that the socio-economic changes of the last decade have changed the dynamics between state and society, thus, creating a larger, more politically assertive middle class. Once politics catches up with these changes the foundation would be laid for a functional and responsive state, he suggested.

Lecture was attended by the head of department, students and faculty members. In the last, honorary shield was presented to Mr. Mustafa Raza for his scholarly contribution.
