DHA Suffa University organized a Seminar on *The Functions & Responsibilities of the FTO Secretariat towards Helping & Facilitating Tax Payers*, conducted by Mr. Syed Shakeel Ahmed (Advisor Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat) at DSU’s Conference Room on 27th September 2023. The objective of the session was to give awareness to the faculty and staff members of DSU regarding the work that the FTO performs under the Federal Tax Ombudsman Ordinance 2000.
Mr. Syed Shakeel Ahmed briefed the participants about the functions and responsibilities of FTO towards helping taxpayers in filing their complaints against the maladministration of the tax officials.
The session concluded with DSU’s Pro-Vice Chancellor presenting a memento to Mr. Syed Shakeel Ahmed as a token of appreciation from DSU.

🎤 Dr. Valiuddin, Vice Chancellor of Sir Syed University, commenced the day’s proceedings with an engaging talk on leadership and academic administration. 🎤 The next speaker, Dr. Altaf Mukati, Vice President of Szabist, shed light on the challenges prevalent in our education system and offered practical remedies to address them. His thought-provoking session sparked meaningful discussions among the participants, fostering an atmosphere of collaborative problem-solving.
🎤 Dr. Tariq Somro, Rector of IoBM, took the stage for the last session, sharing his extensive knowledge on achieving professionalism in academia. His presentation encompassed various aspects, including research ethics, teaching methodologies, and professional development opportunities. The attendees gained valuable insights to enhance their professional growth.
