The Office of Alumni Relations, in collaboration with its Corporate Partner Qube – Health & Wellness, organized a Free Skin Care Camp and Grooming Session for the DSU Fraternity. The camp and session took place at DSU’s Executive Lecture Theatre ELT on Tuesday, 21st March 2023, in which 30+ DSU Fraternity members, including Students, Alumni, Faculty and Staff, participated and availed the free consultation services. Upon the requests of DSU Fraternity members, Qube – Health & Wellness has agreed to hold another similar activity at the DSU campus soon.

“Present IELTS” Roadshow – Stage 1 was organized by ILO, Mechanical Engineering Department for Final Semester Students on 20th March 2023. The session was conducted by IELTS staff member, Mr. Muhammad Sufyan.He gave the presentation about IDP and IELTS, IDP’s history, an overview of IELTS, and FAQs followed by Q&A session and tips on passing the IELTS exam with flying colors.

Considering the challenging economic times Meezan bank approved a grant for FACULTY DEVELOPMENT and training. Mr. Ahmed Ali Siddiqui SEVP and group head Meezan bank and Dr Muhammad Afzal Haque Vice Chancellor Dha Suffa University signed the agreement on Friday at University campus. The main purpose of the grant is to fund training of faculty in the areas of Islamic Banking and Finance, halal marketing, best practices in Human Resource management and leadership keeping cognizant of Islamic values. Mr. Siddiqui further announced that keeping in line with the UN Sustainable Development goals faculty can participate in writing cases, research, design and development of ethical and sustainability programs. Dr Afzal welcomed the grant and expressed his gratitude on behalf of the University with a view toward a long term mutually beneficial relationship. He also appreciated the tireless efforts of Mr. Mashkoor Khan EVP, Regional Head Meezan Bank and Mr. Naqi Azam Senior Advisor Dha Suffa University in bringing to fruition the grant. Finally, Mr. Siddiqui who is also a Director at IBA-CIEF mentioned that Suffa University will be intimated of the upcoming courses as per grant guidelines. The main benefit for Suffa Faculty would be capacity building at subsidized rates from IBA -CIEF and NIBAF.
