ERASMUS MUNDUS JOINT MASTERS DEGREE (EMJMD) SCHOLARSHIPS 2023

DSU’s IERC (International Education Resource Center) would like to bring to the attention of all DSU final semester undergraduate students as well as alumni, that European Union’s (EU’s) Erasmus Mundus scholarships to study a fully funded joint Masters degree in Europe, are presently open. DSU can proudly claim that last year, one of its Electrical Engineering graduates secured this scholarship. DSU’s final semester students as well as alumni, aspiring to study a postgraduate MS degree abroad on full scholarship are strongly encouraged to apply.

COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS

DSU’s IERC (Intl Education Resource Center) would like to bring to the attention of DSU’s students and alumni that applications for the Commonwealth Scholarship for postgraduate studies are presently open. The deadline is 13th-Dec-2022. Commonwealth scholarship is for a fully funded Masters scholarship to study in UK (tuition fee, living expenses and return air fare included) for September 2023 intake.

The application system opens for candidate applications on 03 November 2022 and closes at 16:00 (GMT) on 13 December. More details, including eligibility and requirements are available in the page https://cscuk.fcdo.gov.uk/…/commonwealth-shared…/

Applications for Commonwealth Shared Scholarships must be made using the CSC’s online application system.

Candidates must apply and secure admission to study an approved Master’s course at a participating UK university in addition to applying for a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship via the CSC’s online application system.

DSU’s students and alumni are strongly encouraged to apply.

Information Session for DSU’s Students on International Education, Career and Summer Camp Opportunities by Managing Director P2Gs

Major General (Retd) Shaukat Iqbal, Managing Director P2Gs (Pakistan to Germany Study), visited DSU on 22nd-Nov-2022 and gave a talk to DSU’s students on the foreign education and career options that students can avail during their undergraduate studies as well as for their postgraduate study plans. The information session was attended by DSU’s Engineering , Computer Science & Management Sciences students, who were informed about some of the renowned European Universities, their degree programs and career pathways that await students in Europe. The session focused in particular on Germany as a promising destination for higher studies and students were apprised of the fact that Germany’s population demographics are such that it needs more and more young educated people to become part of its workforce. Most importantly, the guest speaker enlightened students on how P2Gs, as foreign education & career pathway consultants, can facilitate DSU’s students in their endeavors to study abroad in Germany and have a successful professional career post graduation. The information session was followed by an interactive Q&A during which the guest speaker answered student queries.

SISTER2SISTER EXCHANGE PROGRAM 2023

DSU’s IERC (Intl Education Resource Center) would like to bring to the attention of all female students of DSU that the
Sister2Sister Exchange Program 2023 is presently accepting applications.  It offers eligible females between the ages of 18-24 an opportunity to attend undergraduate summer courses at prestigious US universities.  The Sister2Sister Exchange Program is funded by the U.S. Department of State and is administered by a consortium of partners including American University, iEARN-USA and the Society for International Education.  Interested and eligible female students of DSU are strongly encouraged to apply at:
